Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Lawrence Discuss Donald Trump

And they're not the only ones with these concerns!

If you’re concerned about the very real possibility that Donald Trump could be the next president of the US, then you’re not the only one. Amongst other public figures, Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Lawrence have both described their concern about Trump, for different reasons.

Angelina Jolie, who is the special envoy of the UN’s High Commissioner for Refugees, spoke at a migration event in London, coordinated by the BBC, to address issues concerning the world’s refugee crisis.

When she was asked to comment on Donald Trump’s call to temporarily ban Muslims from coming to the United States, she closed her eyes and shook her head solemnly, and gave her answer.

“To me, America is built on people from around the world coming together for freedoms, especially freedom of religion. So it’s hard to hear this is coming from someone who is pressing to be an American president.”

Meanwhile, Jennifer Lawrence recently appeared on the BBC’s Graham Norton Show and had two (slightly less eloquent) words to say about Donald Trump.

“I was at a concert where I heard he was attending, so I had my full security team, I was like ‘find Donald Trump,'” Jennifer said.

“I was adamant on finding him and making a video of me going, ‘Hey Trump, f— you!’

Jennifer Lawrence has previously made it known that, though she was raised a Republican supporter, she has since stopped supporting the party because they do not generally advocate for women’s rights.
