When 30-year-old Amber initially filed for divorce, she requested $50,000 per month from estranged husband Johnny Depp, however it was denied after she was granted a temporary restraining order.

In documents obtained by E! News, Amber claims that her request has been “used against her to distract and divert the public away from the very serious real issue of domestic violence.”

In addition, the documents also state: “In light of the coordinated false and negative media campaign falsely depicting my attempts to attain a CLETS Domestic Violence Restraining Order as being financially motivated, I am hereby withdrawing the request for spousal support.”

This is merely the latest twist in Hollywood’s biggest split of 2016. On Monday, police were called to the former couple’s shared residence in downtown LA. According to TMZ, Amber’s team called authorities when Johnny’s team began removing personal items from the house (which was believed to be a violation of the temporary restraining order). Johnny was at his private island in the Bahamas when this took place.

People reports that Depp will return to Los Angeles by Wednesday. On Friday, counsel for both parties are scheduled to meet in Los Angeles court to determine whether Heard’s temporary restraining order should be extended.
