“Didn’t get tell to you how much you meant to me, but you would have told me to shut up anyway. When I signed off in an email I’d say “love me” and you’d say “I do”. Well I love YOU ❤️Jude . And all of us at All Saints were so very lucky to have worked alongside you. Can’t believe it actually . 💙💜💙💜🌈.”
Fans have also expressed their condolences on Twitter.
Fremantle Media’s head of drama Jo Porter, who worked alongside McGrath as an executive producer during All Saints, spoke to SMH and described her as “one of those incredible character actors who stole hearts and scenes, perhaps never really getting the true accolades she deserved.”
“Judith was adored by her colleagues and by the public, though she would too modest to admit that,” Porter added.
Sending love to the family of the veteran actress during this difficult time.
