Fresh off the success of her Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life Netflix reboot, Alexis Bledel couldn’t help spilling the beans on another possible reunion.
Talking to Jimmy Fallon, the actress confirmed that they’re “working on” another of Sisterhood Of The Travelling Pants movie with Amber Tamblyn, Blake Lively, and America Ferrera.
“We would all love to do it,” Alexis gushed. “I think it would be so much fun. We talk about it. I think we should absolutely do it.”
“We’re working on it, so we’ll see if it happens.”
Jimmy even had a few ideas for a plot – or a possible all-male spin-off starring himself, Kevin Hart, Paul Rudd, and Mark-Paul Gosselaar.
“I seriously think you come out with a third one, you guys are all talking to each other, you’re older now, and you go, ‘Wait, who has the pants?’” Fallon said. “Maybe someone’s kid is wearing the pants, maybe someone’s mom is wearing the pants. Maybe it’s been put on a scarecrow and turned into a horror movie.”
Blake also recently spoke about the “strong chance” that there might be a third movie.
“The four of us are still best friends and to be able to create something together again has always been a dream of ours,” she toldSiriusFM, adding that it would be “a movie trusting that our audience grew up with us”.
The original film was released in 2005 and the sequel came out in 2008.
