British singer Adele, and her husband Simon Konecki have decided to part ways after more than seven years together.
“Adele and her partner have separated,” the Grammy winner’s representative Benny Tarantini and Carl Fysh said in a statement to the Associated Press.
“They are committed to raising their son together lovingly. As always they ask for privacy. There will be no further comment.”
The 30-year-old singer (real name Adele Adkins) and entrepreneur-philanthropist Konecki, 44, have long stayed mum on the subject of their relationship. They welcomed their son Angelo in 2012 and confirmed she married Konecki when she won album of the year at the 2017 Grammys.
“Grammys, I appreciate it. The Academy, I love you. My manager, my husband and my son — you’re the only reason I do it,” she said during her acceptance speech.

The private couple shares their time between London and Beverly Hills, where they bought a home in 2016. That same year she opened up to Vanity Fair about her bond with the “confident” and “perfect” Konecki for one of the first times, calling it “the most serious relationship I’ve ever been in.”
