Shocking footage has emerged from CCTV that shows a man pushing his helpless three-year-old step-daughter into a pool three times, drowning her. He will face 100 years in jail for his crime.
Daily Mail reports that while the girl’s mother was sleeping in their hotel room in Mexico, the man, Jose David N. threw the girl into the hotel’s swimming pool. While she struggles to stay afloat, he stands by the pool doing nothing to save her.
The mother, who is a nurse, didn’t realise her daughter was dead until she returned to the hotel room after a swim with her husband. She found the girl lifeless in front of the TV and took her to hospital.
The girl died in hospital, and Jose was charged with murder. Though prosecutors had recommended a jail sentence of up to 40 years, the judges of the trial made it more severe after seeing the CCTV footage. They found him guilty with aggravated murder, and sentenced him to 100 years in jail, with no possibility of parole.
