When Netflix released the film, To All The Boys I Loved Before, they never imagined how popular it would become. According to Variety, it is one of Netflix’s “most viewed original films ever”, with many fans watching it repeatedly. More than 80 million subscribers have watched the romantic comedy.

The film’s leading co-stars Lana Condor and Noah Centineo also shot to fame shortly after the movie was released. Netflix says Noah’s Instagram fan base grew from 800,000 to 13.4 million followers, while Lana’s followers grew from 100,000 to 5.5 million.
Yesterday, one and a half years later, the sequel P.S. I Still Love You premiered on the streaming service and already the world is eager to know if a third movie will be released.
And the answer is, yes!
The belowed franchise is coming to a bittersweet end with its third and final film, To All the Boys: Always and Forever.
Based on Jenny Han’s popular YA trilogy, the third installment explores what’s next for the love story that belongs to Lara Jean Covey (Lana Condor) and Peter Kavinsky (Noah Centineo).

Last August, Netflix confirmed via Twitter that the third flick went into production two months after the second film finished shooting.
And, that filming had already wrapped up on number three. “We finished shooting it,” Lana revealed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. “It’s done. We shot two and three [back to back].”
Until then, here’s a spoiler about what we can expect to happen in To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before 3:
By this point, Lara Jean and Peter Kavinsky are in their final year of high school and dealing with college applications and the possibility of not getting into the same university…which they don’t. Peter gets into the University of Virginia, where Lara was hoping to also go, but she gets accepted at William and Mary (which is at least in Virginia) and the University of North Carolina instead.
Loved-up Peter contemplates giving up his athletic scholarship to follow Lara, so Peter’s mother goes behind his back and asks Lara to break up with him. She gets drunk and dumps him. Regretting her decision, Lara tells Peter she loves him and they end up getting back together.
At least, that’s how the story goes in the book.
The third film drops on Netflix on February 12th.
