After what seems like forever, we finally have new details on highly-anticipated fourth series of Netflix’s The Crown, including new photos of Emma Corrin playing Princess Diana.

In some teaser images shared by Netflix, the 24-year-old British actress can be seen as a stunning double in a strapless lilac evening gown, similar to one Princess Diana wore back in 1983.

She’s depicted surrounded by photographers on a red carpet, close to a tuxedo-clad Prince Charles (played by Josh O’Connor), along with another shot of her waving to the cameras.

Another shot shows Corrin in a trademark Princess Diana matching two-piece set that showcases her famed engagement ring.

Corrin recently spoke about filming in an exact replica of the late Princess of Wales’ iconic wedding dress, designed by the same people behind the original.

“The Emanuels, who designed the original, gave us the patterns, and then it was made for me,” she said. “We were filming the scene when you first see her in the wedding dress—I think it was Lancaster House in London—and I had a team of about 10 people helping me put it on, because it’s massive.”

She also revealed that during her initial fitting that the whole crew fell speechless at the breathtaking resemblance.

“I walked out and everyone went completely silent,” she said.

In a hint of what’s in store for viewers when the new season hits Netflix in November, Netflix also showed a glimpse of Corrin meeting Camilla Parker-Bowles, her character’s future love-rival,  played Emerald Fennell.

Wearing a similar outfit, she offers Parker-Bowles a close-up look at the dazzling sapphire ring and we’re already feeling the tension.

The new season will also see X-Files‘s Gillian Anderson step into her role as England’s first female Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher, who headed the British government from 1979 to 1990.

In a statement made by Anderson after her role was announed last year she wrote, “I am so excited to be joining the cast and crew of The Crown and to have the opportunity to portray such a complicated and controversial woman.”

“Thatcher was undoubtedly formidable, but I am relishing exploring beneath the surface and, dare I say, falling in love with the icon who, whether loved or despised, defined an era,” she continued.

Other images shared by Netflix show Queen Elizabeth, played by Olivia Coleman and Prince Phillip, played by Tobias Menzies, attending the Royal Variety Performance, as well as miscellaneous scenes that further depict Erin Doherty as Princess Anne and Helena Bonham Carter as Princess Margaret.
