Becky Miles Reveals That She Has A Locky Gilbert-Style Finale On ‘The Bachelorette’

Get ready for another tear-filled final decision!

As any Bachelor fan can surely remember, Locky Gilbert’s season finale saw him break down in tears as he struggled to choose between Irena Srbinovska and Bella Varelis

And it looks like Becky Miles’ season of The Bachelorette is set to wrap up in a very similar way.

Speaking on The Kyle and Jackie O Show on October 7, the 30-year-old opened up about how she ends up torn between her two finalists and was “battling” to choose “right to the end.” Much like Gilbert’s final on-screen moment, Becky also admitted that she experienced a tear or two during filming.

“There’s a lot of emotions going on and you have to let down some guys too that you have real connections with,” she explained.

Even before the premiere, rumours began circulating about a previous relationship that Becky supposedly ended once she was confirmed as this year’s Bachelorette.

However, she also admitted that she had, in fact, been “seeing someone for a short period of time” when producers began scouting her for the show, but things ended pleasantly between the two.

“Were you single when they approached you? Or did you have to ditch someone?” Kyle Sandilands asked.

“If I was in a relationship, I definitely wouldn’t have gone on the show…” she replied.

Miles went onto acknowledge that she had been dating someone casually when she was offered The Bachelorette, but assured that their relationship was more on the casual side.

“I was single, but I was seeing someone for a short period of time there,” she said. Insisting they ended their relationship on “really good terms”, she added: “I was as honest as I could [be] with him.”

“I said to him, ‘There’s this opportunity that’s come up with Elly for me. It’s a TV thing, a dating thing. Just to be clear with you, this is what I want to do.'”

The Bachelorette Australia airs Wednesdays and Thursdays at 7:30pm on Network 10.
