Guess What, You Can Now Get Your Hands On *Those* Office Desks From ‘Selling Sunset’

It's giving airplane hangar chic.
A woman in a blue blazer smiles and gestures while sitting at a desk with a laptop and red mug.

If you, like us, have spent the past five seasons of Selling Sunset fawning over luxury real estate, then you’ve probably also noticed something else—those desks.

In all honesty, it’s rather hard to miss them given their striking colour and stature in a room full of towering, blonde real estate agents. And now, fans of the show can own the very same, infamous desks from The Oppenheim Group.

Thanks to Melbourne-based TikTok interior design sensations, Josh and Matt, the pair took to the platform to document a recent shopping trip for home decor.

While out, the duo visited Space Furniture, Living Edge and Coco Republic, which was where they stumbled across the office furniture that has been just as illustrious as the sprawling, million dollar Los Angeles properties that Selling Sunset sells off.

From our untrained design eyes, the piece looks like it could have come straight from a plane hangar. But for design and art aficionados, they may recognise that the piece was created by British brand Timothy Oulton. Aptly named the ‘Aviator Blackhawk Valkyrie Desk’, the brand itself describes the piece as the “vanguard of desks”.

According to the Australian stockist, Coco Republic, the piece was inspired by a “1960s strategic bomber prototype used for supersonic testing”.

“Echoing the painstakingly shaped and finished exterior of the plane’s riveted exterior, the desk goes through a five-stage finishing process,” the description reads, concluding by saying the desk “makes an eye-catching desk for a large loft or modern bachelor pad”.

What Timothy Oulton may have never predicted was that the artful piece of furniture would become a character in itself in Selling Sunset. With every new arrival—hello, Chelsea Lazkani—it brings back the same debate over who will sit at which of Timothy Oulton’s six offerings at the Oppenheim Group.

Interested in starting up your own real estate brokerage? In need of an aircraft-inspired desk to sit at? Then, perhaps some of Jason and Brett’s luck will rub off on you if you can get your hands on the Aviator Blackhawk Valkyrie Desk at Coco Republic for a cool AUD $6795.

After all, that amount of money compared to the properties you’ll be listing is sure to just feel like pocket change, no?
