A Sephora Australia representative has confirmed Australian stores are mobilised to follow suit with temporary store closures should Australian government advice confirm changes to the sector.
Sephora Australia was the first beauty retailer in the country to take action against the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus by cancelling makeup bookings and ramping up hygiene and health measures in stores.

Considering makeup products are known to be a breeding ground for harmful bacteria at the best of times, Sephora’s measures seem very wise.
As of today, there are now 454 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Australia. Worldwide there have been over 190,600 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and more than 7,700 deaths.
