They were the couple we never saw coming, but over the course of Bachelor In Paradise Australia’s first season, Sam Cochrane and Tara Pavlovic proved that they were undeniably perfect for each other.
Week by week their love story continued to capture the hearts of Australia and when Sam got down on one knee and proposed to his girlfriend of a few short weeks on the show’s epic finale, we thought they would be together forever.
However, just over a week ago the couple announced their split via a heartbreaking post on their social media accounts, insisting it was amicable.
But in a series of cryptic Instagrams, Sam’s mother, Rosie Wynter, is saying otherwise.
Rosie discussed cruelty and forgiveness and even alluded to a ‘betrayal’ in the posts. While she didn’t specifically mention Tara’s name, she did tag Sam.
It appears as if the 34-year old voice artist’s mother is making reference to his relationship with his former fiancé.
When Rosie was asked by a fan to elaborate on her posts, she replied: “You cannot imagine the story behind it and I opened my heart and home. I can’t say anymore… please understand. There is so much to it.”
Rumours of the Cochrane’s and Pavlovic’s split began to circulate early in June when the former lovebirds unfollowed each other Instagram. However, after fans pleaded the couple for answers, they re-followed each other on social media.
Tara has since deleted all loved-up posts with Sam.
