For all of eternity, Reese Witherspoon has been safely filed away in the category of celebrities who you can trust to not go astray, whether it be with her movie roles (always great), her demeanour (always sunny) or her hair (always blonde).
But stepping out in Los Angeles over the weekend, Reese was almost unrecognisable with a head full of dark, brunette hair.
Wearing a Burgundy leather jacket, blue jeans and a black turtleneck, Reese wore her new hair in loose waves.
Of course, the dramatic transformation is likely either the work of a really good wig or semi-permanent die, as the actress was photographed on the set of her current project, Apple streaming series The Morning Show.
If, however, it is a permanent change, we wouldn’t be mad about a Legally Brunette spinoff as a result.
