Wearing a white and blue suit, Prince Nikolai looked every part a professional model at Paris’s Republican Guard cavalry regiment.

The son of Prince Joachim and first wife, Alexandra, Countess of Frederiksborg, Nikolai already has numerous modelling gigs under his belt.

His royal highness signed up with Scoop Models in Denmark in 2017, before walking Christopher Bailey’s final collection for Burberry.

Jones explained his reasoning for casting the teenager in a post-show Instagram: “One for my mother who was Danish RIP,” the designer wrote alongside an image of HRH.

Being seventh-in-line for the Danish throne means Prince Nikolai is not required to perform royal duties and instead, can focus on a career path of his choosing.

Of modelling, Nikolai’s father, Prince Joachim told Billed-Bladet“’He must not be forced into anything. Nikolai’s life must take place entirely after his own plan. I want to help him on my way and try to inspire him.”

We have a feeling the fashion world is about to see a lot more of this eligible royal.
