The couple made headlines again this week after an episode of South Park aired that seemed to draw more than a little inspiration from them.

In the episode, the fictional ‘Prince and Princess of Canada’ embark on a series of misadventures, including a ‘World Privacy Tour,’ throughout which the couple hold up signs reading ‘stop looking at us,’ and ‘we want our privacy.’

A striking visual resemblance between both couples left little doubt in viewers’ minds that the characters were modelled after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

Other details of the show also appear to mock the real-life royals, including a book written by the Prince of Canada titled Waagh, which recalls Prince Harry’s recently released Spare, while the Princess of Canada is described as “sorority girl, actress, influencer” and “victim.”

It was initially reported that Megan was “upset for days” at the cartoon’s ridicule, and that the pair were considering legal action.

Now, however, a spokesperson for the couple has responded, telling Newsweek that claims they will sue are “baseless and boring.”

The news comes weeks after speculation arose surrounding the couple’s attendance at King Charles’ Coronation.

According to the Mirror, the pair have not decided whether they will attend the momentous event.

The Mirror also reported that neither the King nor Prince William have spoken directly to Harry and Meghan about their attendance at the event.

In a recent interview with ITV‘s Tom Bradby, Harry revealed that he still wants to mend things with the King and the heir to the throne.

“I would like to get my father back, I would like to have my brother back,” he tells Bradby.

The King’s coronation is set to take place on May 6, which is also the date of the couple’s son Archie’s fourth birthday.
