Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have had countless adorable encounters with kids during their royal tour of Australia, Tonga, Fiji and New Zealand. It’s a preview of what the royals will be like as parents when they welcome their first child next April.
Harry had a touching encounter with a young supporter during a visit to Auckland on Tuesday. The royal, who lost his mother Prince Diana in a car accident when he was 12-years-old, stopped to share a few comforting words with six-year-old boy Otia Nante and his grandmother, Te Nante.
According to The Daily Telegraph, young Otia explained that he had lost his mum too and looked up to the royal because they had gone through a similar experience.
Otia had written the Duke a letter, which he put in his pocket. “Life will always be all right, you know that?” Harry told Otia. “I made it to 34-years-old and life is great. I’ve got a beautiful wife, baby on the way. Your life is going to be sorted, don’t you worry about that.”
