A baby girl makes three for Pippa Middleton.
The 38-year-old younger sister of the Duchess of Cambridge welcomed her daughter with husband James Matthews, 46, “a couple of weeks ago”, according to PEOPLE.
It makes Pippa and James’ three-year-old son, Arthur and their one-year-old daughter, Grace a big brother and sister.
Pippa’s third pregnancy was kept under wraps until the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations in June, where she was seen in the audience sporting a baby bump.
She was joined by her husband as well as her brother James Middleton and his wife Alizée Thévenet. Sitting several rows ahead of her was her sister Kate Middleton who attended the concert with her three children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
While details about the birth are scarce, it’s likely Pippa welcomed her third child at London’s Lindo Wing, the same place she welcomed her first two children. Kate Middleton also welcomed her children there—those hospital steps have certainly had their time in the spotlight as each birth included an official photo call.
Now, almost a fortnight after Pippa and James welcomed their baby girl into the world, they’re finally ready to reveal her name.
Several outlets have confirmed that Pippa has begun sharing her name with close relatives, and if the name in question is true, it’s fitting for a pseudo-royal.
According to The Daily Mail, Pippa and James have called their daughter Rose—perhaps a a nod to the House of Windsor’s penchant for roses?
Pippa and James married in 2017 and currently live in the Berkshire area, which isn’t far from where Kate Middleton and Prince William are understood to be moving to in the coming months. No doubt their children will enjoy growing up with their cousins close by.
Pippa’s husband is chief executive of Eden Rock Capital Management Group and is the heir to an estate in Scotland. He and Pippa may one day take the aristocratic titles of Laird and Lady.
Congratulations to the parents of three!
