A bottle of Australian Moscato has recently picked up not one, but two, prestigious awards at the National Moscato Challenge – and the kicker? It only costs $6.
Only available from BWS, the Chancellor & Co’s Sparkling Pink Moscato won ‘Best in Show’ as well as ‘Best Sparkling Moscato’ at the prestigious competition – beating out much more expensive competitors.
The wine is described as “full of fresh and fruity character’ with each sip promising an ‘exciting aroma of musk, rose, citrus and pear to start things off with a developing palate of apple and sweet citrus peel following.”

Affordable Australian wine has a bit of a reputation for picking up some hefty awards. Earlier this year, a $7 Coles white wine was named the best in Australia, while a budget ALDI wine picked up a top gong as well.
“Winning awards for three of our wines are a testament to the excellent calibre of Aldi’s Australian suppliers and our commitment to creating quality wines that are great value,” Aldi Buying Director Jason Bowyer said after winning the award. “We are absolutely thrilled.”
