Australian professional tennis player Thanasi Kokkinakis has been a steady presence on the circuit for years. He has ranked as high as no.65 in the world rankings and won the ATP Tour, having reached the third rounds at both the 2015 and 2023 French Opens.
He is best known for his performance on hard courts and clay courts, alongside his huge first serve and powerful forehand swing.
Having made a name for himself on the court, there is also intrigue about Kokkinakis’ personal life, especially as he tends to be extremely private about it.
It turns out that the Australian, who was born to Greek parents in Adelaide, was dating Melbourne-based influencer Hannah Dal Sasso in 2023.
While it’s not clear if the pair are still together (more on that later), here’s what we know about their romance so far.
Who Is Thanasi Kokkinakis’ Girlfriend?
Kokkinakis has been dating Melbourne-based influencer Hannah Dal Sasso. She runs a business that was previously called HDSRENTALS, but was rebranded to Styled By Mim. You can check out her Instagram page here. The business rents out designer dresses for women to wear to events.
While she hasn’t disclosed her exact age, she’s reportedly in her mid-20s. Kokkinakis is 27. She has modelled and worked with brands such as Showpo and Secret Sneaker. She went to a high school in Melbourne and also went on to study at Deakin University. Her personal Instagram can be found here.
It’s believed that the pair started dating in 2023. Their first public appearance was at the Glamour on the Grid party ahead of the F1 Grand Prix in March.
“We met a few months ago,’’ Hannah told Fox Sports. “I’ve been travelling with him for a bit.”
Dal Sasso also attended the Miami Open prior to the event, but they were not pictured together there.
Did Kokkinakis and Hannah Del Sasso Break Up?
There have been rumours that the tennis couple have called it quits. The Daily Mail reports that Kokkinakis was seen back on celebrity dating app Raya after six months of dating Dal Sasso.
He also attended the Piper-Heidsieck Summer of Tennis launch in Melbourne without her by his side.
However, the famously private couple haven’t commented either way as yet.
Dal Sasso did post to celebrate the 2024 Australian Open, simply posting ‘Day One @australianopen’ wearing tennis whites and posting macaroons decorated as tennis balls. However, Kokkinakis did not feature in her carousel post.
