It’s not surprising that the world’s biggest pop star would have an impressive portfolio of property to her name.

And that’s exactly the case for Taylor Swift, who has reportedly added to her US$150 million real estate empire, snapping up another mansion, this time in the UK.

The singer is no stranger to the drizzly pastures of London, having rented a home in the upmarket suburb of Primrose Hill with former boyfriend Joe Alwyn for two years.

And while they’ve since called time on their relationship, it seems Taylor’s love affair with London lives on, with the US Sun reporting that she has invested in a mansion worth approximately £10 million (that’s nearly $19 million AUD).

While images of her latest purchase remain to be seen, according to multiple reports, Taylor plans to use the property (which comes equipped with a swimming pool and an orangery) as a home base when she travels across the pond.

So in honour of this impressive addition, we’re taking a deep dive into Taylor Swift’s impressive property portfolio. Below, a look at each of the singer’s eight homes, including exactly how much she purchased them for.

Nashville, US$1.9 Million

Taylor entered the real estate market when she was just 20, purchasing a condo in Nashville in 2009. The 3,240-square-foot apartment is located on Music Row, an area of the city that’s home to several record labels, radio stations, recording studios and, of course, musicians.

In an interview with Vulturehttps://www.vulture.com/2013/11/taylor-swift-reigning-queen-of-pop.html, Taylor described decorating the three-bedroom home herself, with a more-is-more mentality. Think: birdcages and chandeliers hanging from the ceilings, a kitchen backsplash in the shape of a heart, and plenty of hardwood furniture.

Nashville, US$2.5 Million

While Taylor’s second property purchase was a little bigger, it remained close to her Southern roots. In 2011, the singer snapped up a Greek revival-style home in the gated Northumberland Estate community.

According to reports, Taylor extensively renovated the home, including transforming the 2000 square foot guesthouse into a private recording studio.

Beverly Hills, US$3.55 Million

Solidifying her status as a pop star, Taylor expanded to Los Angeles in 2011, purchasing a Cape Cod-style cottage in Beverly Hill. Per Architectural Digest, the three-bedroom home was situated on nearly 1.5 acres of land, and even featured a tennis court. Taylor sold the property for around US$4 million in 2018, just before embarking on her Reputation tour.

At 23, Taylor made one of her most impressive purchases to date: a sprawling property in Watch Hill, Rhode Island,

The beachside home features eight bedrooms and 10 bathrooms, and is where Taylor typically hosts her A-list friends for her highly-Instagrammed Independence Day parties.

As devoted Swifties will know, the home is also thought to be the subject of Taylor’s song Dorothea, from her 2020 album ‘evermore’.

Tribeca, US$50 Million

In 2014, Taylor made her mark on New York, purchasing the first of three properties on Franklin Street, Tribeca. The home, a five-bedroom townhouse, was formerly owned by Lord of the Rings director Peter Jackson. Soon after, Taylor dropped a cool US$18 million on the adjacent townhouse, and set a massive renovation project in motion, combining the two homes for approximately half a million (US) dollars.

Fast forward to 2018, and Taylor invested in even more property on Franklin Street, buying a  3,540-square-foot luxury loft for around US$9.75 million.

Taylor’s next home is arguably as iconic to New York City as the Statue of Liberty. While she never technically owned the property, Taylor moved into a four-bedroom, seven-bathroom townhouse on Cornelia street in 2016, while her Tribeca properties were under construction.

If you’ve got spare change, the house is currently for sale for US$17,995,000 – or for rent at $45,000 per month.

In 2015, Taylor bolstered her real estate portfolio with a US$25 million mansion in Beverly Hills. The property spans seven bedrooms and 10 bathrooms, and even features a two-room guest apartment, as well as a swimming pool and tennis court. Unsurprisingly, Taylor still owns this impressive home today.
