Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were like Troy and Gabriella from High School Musical following the 54th Super Bowl. She just made records with her Grammy win and he just won the Super Bowl. Do things get more fairy-tale than that?

After Kelce’s team took out the win in extra time, Swift rushed onto the field alongside his mother, Donna, to give Kelce a big hug and a kiss to celebrate. Some footage appeared to show Kelce see Swift and say, “Come here baby girl”, which had Swift fans very overwhelmed.

Following the game, Swift and Kelce attended XS Nightclub at Wynn Las Vegas to celebrate alongside fellow Chiefs fans. Naturally, Kelce was up on the decks with the DJ, helping them pick songs to pump up the crowd.

At one point they played ‘You Belong With Me’, as Swift and Kelce pointed at one another. They also played ‘Love Story’ where the loved-up couple took very special care to sing the lyrics “you’ll be the prince and I’ll be the princess”.

Some fans also pointed out that Kelce was filmed dancing to ‘Love Story’ when the Chiefs won in 2023, and now is singing it with Swift by his side.

They also went in for a kiss while they were dancing, and Swift was seen wearing Kelce’s black sparkly jacket, which was made by brand Amiri.

Speaking to reporters about his life after the game, Kelce responded, “Man, it’s on top of the world right now, baby.

It’s a good feeling.”

Did Taylor Swift Go To The 2024 Super Bowl?

There was mounting concern that pop superstar Taylor Swift would not make it to the Las Vegas stadium on February 11 to cheer on her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end, Travis Kelce, in the 2024 Super Bowl. However, shots of her private jet landing in the US proved that Swift did in fact make the mad dash from Tokyo to Vegas for the game.

You can read all about her wild flight schedule here.

Swift dashed from the stage after finishing her final song ‘Karma’ in Tokyo, making the 30-minute journey to Haneda airport.

The starlet boarded her jet, believed to be operated by private jet charter company Vista Malta, and flew over to Los Angeles, where paparazzi filmed the plane coming in at LAX.

Unfortunately for Swift, the aircraft was the most tracked flight of the day, arriving in America at 3:35pm after leaving Tokyo at 11:36pm, with a total of eight hours and 58 minutes flight time. The plane was slightly delayed from Tokyo, having been originally scheduled to depart at 10:44pm.

Swift posted to Instagram just a few days before her Tokyo shows, announcing that her Eras Tour film was finding a new ‘streaming home’ on Disney Plus. She began the post, “This week is truly the best kind of chaos.” Having flown to Tokyo, played four shows, and dashed back to the US to see one of the most-watched annual sporting events, and then flying back to Australia to begin her shows in Melbourne from February 16, that statement seems very true.

Swift’s presence at the Super Bowl is sure to be an internet-breaking moment, with a sold-out crowd and millions of people around the world watching her.

She has already become a mainstay of the NFL broadcast, attending 12 games in the lead up to Travis’ team playing in the Super Bowl. Swifties know this number is significant, given the Super Bowl will be the 13th game she’s watched, and she has been very public about ‘13’ being her lucky number.

“I was born on the 13th,” she explained to MTV in 2009. “I turned 13 on Friday the 13th. My first album went gold in 13 weeks. My first No. 1 song had a 13-second intro. Every time I’ve won an award, I’ve been seated in either the 13th seat, the 13th row, the 13th section or Row M, which is the 13th letter.”

It seems that trend did not fail her, with the Chiefs taking out the 54th Super Bowl. Taylor’s presence was also good news for Chiefs fans, as the statistics show Travis Kelce plays more strongly when his paramour, Swift, is watching him.

CBS reports that during the Chiefs win against the Los Angeles Chargers, Kelce averaged 8.5 catches rather than his usual 7, and made 108 receiving yards in comparison to 46.5 when she’s not there.

However, not everyone is happy with Swift attending the games, with some football fans decrying the constant cutaways to the star. She has addressed the controversy, but appears not to be deterred by their negativity, if her attendance at the Super Bowl is anything to go by.
