Jennifer Lawrence is pregnant with her second child. A representative for the Oscar-winning actress confirmed the news with Vogue after the star was spotted this past Saturday in Los Angeles.
Lawrence, 34, is already mother to two-year-old Cy, whom she shares with her husband, Cooke Maroney.
The couple married in 2019, before Lawrence gave birth to Cy in 2022.
Lawrence is famously private when it comes to her family life, maintaining her off-screen persona far from the public eye, so it’s no surprise that she’s keeping the details of her second pregnancy under wraps for now.
In an interview with Vanity Fair in 2021, Jennifer Lawrence spoke about her experience of being pregnant, and why it was so important to her and Cooke that their plans to keep their private life – private, were so important.
“If I was at a dinner party, and somebody was like, ‘Oh, my God, you’re expecting a baby,’ I wouldn’t be like, ‘God, I can’t talk about that. Get away from me, you psycho!’ But every instinct in my body wants to protect their privacy for the rest of their lives, as much as I can,” the star told the publication.
“I don’t want anyone to feel welcome into their existence. And I feel like that just starts with not including them in this part of my work.”
One thing we do know for sure though, is that we’re bound to get plenty of maternity style moments from Lawrence – if her first pregnancy is anything to go by.
