Google is set to announce the latest hardware tomorrow morning (2am AEDT) at the Made By Google event in New York City.
What can we expect?
There has been a steady stream of rumours and leaks around what products are set to be launched by the tech titan.
We do expect Google to officially take the wraps off two phones; Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. These two phones are the third generation in the Pixel series and will have plenty of upgrades to last year’s devices.
There’s also the Google Home Hub which is a smart-display device that joins the Google Home family of products which are already in Australia.
An updated Chromecast is expected to be announced, as well as a Google tablet (rumoured to be called the Pixel Slate), but even if this is announced we’d be surprised if it made it’s way to Australia since the Pixelbook was never released here.
Is there anything else?
As with anything, there could be a few surprises along the way.
Previously there were rumours about a Google-branded smartwatch, however, Google came out and said that there would be no watch announced at the Made by Google event. But stranger things have happened, and it would be a nice surprise but don’t hold your breath.
