The terrifying ordeal two Hollywood actors went through after being kidnapped and held for almost three days have been made public for the first time.
Daisy McCrackin, who starred in 2002’s Halloween: Resurrection, and her co-star Joseph Capone were at McCrackin’s Los Angeles home on May 3rd when Keith Andre Stewart, Johntae Jones and Amber Neal broke in.
The three attackers allegedly placed hoods over the victims’ heads and drove them to Jones’ home in Compton, The Guardian reports.
Once there, they stripped Mr Capone naked and held him without food in a bathtub for 30 hours, while demanding McCrackin pay a $10,000 ransom fee, according to prosecutors.
While Capone was being held, Jones and Neal drove McCrackin to several different banks demanding she withdraw the money for Capone’s release, the Independent reports.
Prosecutors said she was eventually forced to write a $10,000 check to Neal.
The next day, the suspects took McCrackin back to her home where she escaped them and called authorities.
Stewart, Jones and Neal were charged with 17 felony accounts which included kidnapping and assault with a firearm in connection with the incident. It is thought the kidnapping is drug-related.
