Bri Stern has filed a lawsuit against the self-proclaimed “misogynist influencer” Andrew Tate, with allegations of sexual assault, battery and gender violence.
In her police report, Stern outlines events that took place on March 11, 2025, less than two weeks after Tate and his brother returned to the U.S after having their Romanian travel restrictions lifted, despite facing being the subject of ongoing investigations in both Romania, and Britain.
According to the report obtained by TMZ, Stern alleges Tate grew violent while they were having sex – an act that began as consensual and quickly became “much worse, more aggressive and more violent.” She informed police that when he allegedly started becoming too rough, she “begged him to stop”, which she claims only increased his anger.
Stern spoke about feeling like she was “fading into unconsciousness” as Tate allegedly continued to choke her while at the same time, assaulting her “repeatedly on the side of her face and top of her head.” TMZ published photos obtained from Stern that claim to show the aftermath of the alleged incident – including bruising and swelling.
Following the alleged assault, Stern recalls being too frightened to leave the Beverly Hills Hotel room she was sharing with Tate at the time of the alleged incident. Instead, she said, she waited until the following morning, when she mustered up the courage to leave.
“The last words he said to me before I left the hotel were: “Shut the f**k up, bitch. You will never backtalk me. You are my property,” Stern wrote in a statement published to X following the lawsuit.
Stern reportedly went to hospital, where she was diagnosed as “post-concussive” by health officials.
In the statement, Stern shared how her relationship with Tate had turned from loving to toxic, stating that “Despite the fact that he has hurt me so badly, I still love him. Maybe that’s Stockholm syndrome – I don’t know.”
She reiterated how she’d waited until Tate was out of the country before filing her report, due to fears of reprisal, admitting “The last week has been very difficult and extremely scary for me. I am an emotional wreck and am constantly looking over my shoulder. I’m not the person I was before.”
“Coming out about this is really terrifying in all aspects,” she continued, before admitting she’d considered “saying nothing” because “it was honestly hard for me to accept that I was being abused.”
In closing out her statement, Stern said she while she would “not publicly go over the details” of her relationship with Tate, she chose to come forward in the hopes that it would inspire others “who are in the same position as me – terrified and scared, who are being hurt by the person who is supposed to love them,” to muster the same strength.
Stern has engaged legal representation from Texas attorney Tony Buzbee, who is currently in the news cycle for representing over 100 alleged victims in their cases against Sean ‘P Diddy’ Combs, as he awaits trial.
Tate’s legal team have since responded to TMZ with a statement that reads: “Andrew Tate vehemently rejects this outrageous allegation and will relentlessly pursue legal action against anyone involved in spreading this blatant falsehood.”
Allegations Against Andrew Tate
The fresh allegations filed by Stern add to a long list of ongoing investigations.
In December 2022, both Andrew Tate and his brother, Tristan, were arrested by Romanian authorities on charges of human trafficking and money laundering.
After denying all accusations, the Tate brothers successfully blocked an indictment from going to trial, but Romanian authorities have since announced they are continuing on with a separate criminal investigation.
The brothers were ordered to stay in Romania, where they await the next stage of official proceedings.
In August 2024, local authorities confirmed they had issued search warrants as part of an investigation into potential trafficking of minors, and sexual intercourse with a minor.
Aside from the ongoing investigation in Romania, the Tate brothers also faced accusations of sexual aggression in Britain, for incidents between 2012 and 2015. The charges were later dismissed.
Andrew Tate is also facing a separate civil action in Britain, brought against him in 2024 by four women who’ve filed allegations relating to rape and coercive control between 2013 and 2016.
