On The Bachelorette Australia’s seventh episode, all hell broke loose. We saw perhaps the most intense cocktail party in the show’s history take place and the whole drama was cut off right in the middle leaving us praying that Ciarran isn’t walking out tomorrow. But let’s backtrack a bit first, shall we.
The ep starts with a weird group date in which everyone plays with fake babies to test out their parenting abilities. Angie says she’s after children “in the next 5 years” (Matt Agnew would have lapped up every second that sentence), but Haydn, who everyone keeps forgetting exists, says he doesn’t want to procreate at all. This leads to him and Angie having a conversation later and Haydn ultimately deciding to leave the show.
Carlin gets his second single date with Angie, during which she rubs sunblock on his chest and they sit facing away from the water at the beach (is that illegal?) and make (boring) small talk. While they’re gone, Jamie decides that basically everyone is on the show for “ingenuine” reasons. This is not a word and neither is “ungenuine” which he later switches to, but you get the jist.
At the cocktail party later, Ciarran looks upset and tries to talk to Angie but he’s interrupted by literally everyone and then, well, everything goes haywire. From Angie crying, to Ciarran basically crying, to Carlin screaming at Jamie, to Ciarran screaming at Timm.
Below, the best memes of the night.
