Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas are married!“ A lot of my happiness is to do with the person I’ve fallen in love with,” the Game of Thrones actress tells marie claire Australia, as she graces our June 2019 cover.
After the couple appeared at the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas, where the Jonas Brothers performed after a ten-year hiatus, they went straight to a local wedding chapel to make things ~official~. Turner wore a Bevza silk jumpsuit and Loeffler Randall Gold Penny Knot Mules to the affair.
Diplo was first to share the news via his Instagram Stories, sharing a clip of marie claire Australia’s June cover star in a white dress entering Chapel L’Amour inside A Little White Wedding Chapel with Jonas and his brothers. “Gonna hit up this wedding real quick,” Diplo captioned the clip. In other clips, Sophie can be seen walking down an aisle and holding a bouquet.
Diplo also went live on his Instagram story, showing the couple reciting their vows to one another in front of an Elvis impersonator. Their Elvis impersonator officiant donned a red suit with the classic aviator glasses, and had Joe and Sophie read back the traditional vows before all their famous friends and family in attendance. The bride and groom exchanged ring-pops and said “I think God he gave me you” to one another and kissed each other’s hands.

Turner and Jonas announced their engagement in October 2017.
While the recently reunited Jonas Brothers made a special appearance on The Late Late Show earlier this year, Joe revealed that he and Sophie will be tying the know later this year. “We’re getting married this year,” he told James Corden. “We’re going to have a summer wedding. I’m looking forward to it. It’s going to be a lot of fun.”
It was originally believed they’d be tying the knot in Europe. In November 2018, life coach Mike Bayer accidentally revealed Joe and Sophie’s wedding location when he posted a now-deleted Instagram Story clip of their wedding invitation which read, “Sophie and Joe 2019 France.”

Earlier this year, Turner’s best friend and Game of Thrones co-star opened up about being a bridesmaid. In an interview with Radio Times, Maisie was asked whether she was hoping to be a bridesmaid, to which she happily replied, “I already got it!”
“We’re waiting until this season’s done until we get into any of that but I think she’s already let her little heart wander and imagine,” Williams added of the wedding planning process. Maisie wasn’t in any of the posts so far on social media.
A source has confirmed to PEOPLE that the wedding was legitimate and not a prank. Now for the official Instagram photos…
