Kate Middleton Just Revealed The Royal Family’s Nickname For Princess Charlotte

It's next level adorable

When it comes to nicknames, the Royal Family have somewhat of a reputation. Meghan Markle is apparently referred to as “Tungsten” by her father-in-law Prince Charles, and “Flower” by her mother Doria Ragland. She calls husband Prince Harry “Haz”, while Harry calls her “Megs.” Prince George even recently told a passerby that he goes by the name of “Archie”

Now Kate Middleton, whose name is also a nickname for “Catherine”, has revealed the moniker that she and the rest of the Royal Family call Princess Charlotte.

A blogger named Laura-Ann recounted the conversation with Middleton, who first asked about the woman’s young son who was in her arms, coincidentally also named George. When the Duchess asked about Laura-Ann’s other son, who is 4-years-old, she says Middleton replied, “Oh, he’s the same age as Lottie!”

Apparently, the moniker isn’t the young royals only one. According to People, during a sighting in Norfolk during the holidays, Middleton was overheard talking to Charlotte, who was sitting on the floor of a store: “Get up, poppet!” the royal mum told her daughter.

While Kate is already the proud mother of Prince George, 5, Princess Charlotte, 4, and Prince Louis, 10-months, during a walkabout in Northern Ireland on Thursday, she saw a young baby and told the child’s father: “He’s gorgeous. It makes me feel broody.”
