Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie and Prince Harry have had a royal family outing at Buckingham Palace, attending a garden party hosted by the Queen. The London rain called for the Duke of Sussex’s three-piece suit, top hat and umbrella.

Her Majesty stayed true to her signature style, donning a pastel pink coat and hat, and matching umbrella. The Princesses of York coordinated nude and floral dresses. The royal sisters also took a note out of Kate Middleton’s style handbook, choosing to wear headbands instead of traditional fascinators.
Taking to Instagram following the event, the Sussexes explained that Buckingham Palace garden parties are a royal tradition dating back to Queen Victoria’s time in the 1860s. Today, Queen Elizabeth hosts four garden parties a year to recognise guests “for the good work they’re doing in their communities.”
Attendees included those personally invited by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, including representatives of African Parks, Invictus Games, and more.
Meghan Markle and baby Archie were absent from the event.
