Who could forget child star Nikki Webster and the song that defined our 2000s, Strawberry Kisses? We’d be lying if we said we hadn’t dreamt of the day Webster would decide to bring out yet another classic hit to define the next ten years of our lives. We’ve been given the next best thing.
Webster has rebooted her much-loved hit in edible form. Partnering with Deliveroo to launch her first-ever foray into food, a strawberry and chocolate dessert called, unsurprisingly, Strawberry Kisses. The sweet treat from Australia’s sweetheart will be available from Max Brenner, exclusively via the food delivery service app until stocks last.
The unique dish was created to mark One-Hit Wonder Day, and in celebration of the occasion, the dish will cost just $1.
“Strawberry kisses will always stand out to me as a memorable moment in my career. I am so pumped to bring the nostalgia alive for the many Australians who shared this moment with me. I’ve definitely been missing strawberry kisses since 2001, and I can’t wait to bring it back this week with a tasty treat (that will be just as sweet),” Nikki said of the dessert.
