Just hours after the show debuted on Friday, Twitter was awash with opinions about the reality dating show that flips the script: where the audience roots for beautiful people not to touch and the fantasy suite is a place for emotional, not sexual, connection.
The cast includes a self-confessed male “feminist” who studies Gender Studies to get a “blueprint for how to pick up women”, an American blonde bombshell who admits to “not knowing where Australia is”, and Aussie Harry, who’s made a habit of DM’ing famous women in the hopes of dating (to no avail).
