When thinking of the Jonas Brothers, one thing usually comes to mind: Purity rings. There was once a time where Kevin, Nick and Joe Jonas had committed to abstaining from sex before marriage, and it soon became their trademark. Friend and Nick’s ex-girlfriend Miley Cyrus knew this all too well and couldn’t help but poke a little fun at the Jo Bros.
When asked to pre-record an interview question for the newly reunited band on Capital Breakfast With Roman Kemp, Cyrus took the opportunity and ran with it.
“Did it feel so good taking off your purity ring and did it feel so good taking off your purity ring – you know what I’m saying?” she asked. The brothers couldn’t help but awkwardly giggle before Joe added, “Yeah”.
Nick, now 26, confirmed in 2014 that he had taken off his purity ring while dating Australian singer Delta Goodrem. While Joe, now 29, has admitted he took his off in 2011. Kevin, now 31, married wife Danielle Jonas nearly 10 years ago, in 2009.
Nick is now married to actress Priyanka Chopra while Joe is married to Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner.
