It’s here! Fashion’s night of nights has finally arrived, with the who’s-who of fashion and Hollywood having hit the steps for the annual Met Gala.
The Met Costume Institute’s new exhibit, ‘Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion,’ has given way to a slightly more readable theme than ones we’ve seen in recent years, with the Gala’s dress code being ‘The Garden of Time.’ Inspired by the J.G. Ballard’s 1962 short story of the same name, we were expecting to see nods to fleeting beauty and melancholic florals trickle onto the carpet. And with the event underway, it is safe to say the A-list is already delivering, with Emma Chamberlain, Gwendoline Christie, Zendaya and more hitting the carpet in on-theme outfits.
