Meghan Markle and Prince Harry might’ve been jetting off to Europe on controversial private jet trips, but when they’re back in the UK, the royals aren’t above a Sunday roast at the local pub. A few weeks ago, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were spotted at The Rose and Crown in Berkshire’s Winkfield village, an hour’s drive from London, with baby Archie Harrison in tow. At the time, the pub denied the royals ever visited the establishment, but now there are photos to prove it.
In the pics obtained by TMZ, Harry holds onto Archie’s car seat while Meghan carries in other baby gear. Archie, who has a blanket covering him, appears to be asleep.
A few weeks ago, a couple who were also eating at the pub told The Sun that the royals “were on a table with, I presume, a private secretary. Meghan was cradling Archie most of the time.”
The eyewitness went on to say that Archie was incredibly well behaved. “The little lad was as good as gold, I didn’t hear him cry once while he was there. No other customers recognised them. The staff clearly knew who they were but kept the service low-key.” They also noted that Harry had a couple of beers with his meal, while Meghan stuck to water.
There you have it. Harry and Meghan love a relaxed Sunday dinner at a bar as much as you do.
