The Married At First Sight finale and reunion special is just a week away, and before we head back to our normal lives (seriously, what were we doing prior to this?) let’s take a look at what’s going down at the explosive episode. Nine have released some dramatic moments from the upcoming episode, airing on April 7, that confirm some of the many rumours that have been floating around since the show began.
Below, we’ve rounded up some of the juiciest rumours. *And warning, although these haven’t been confirmed they may contain some spoilers.
A Glass Of Red Wine Is Thrown On Martha (By Cyclone Cyrell)
Earlier this month radio host Grant Denyer let slip that crew members were forced to intervene when a fight broke out between Cyrell and Martha, which he described as a “glassing incident”. “My sources told me [about the glassing incident] and I have very reliable sources,” Grant said on 2DayFM’s Ash, Grant and Ed. “We know it’s true because I know people who were there.”
The trailer all but confirmed this one.
Cam Proposes To Jules
This isn’t so much a rumour rather than a fact that is shown in the trailer. The clip shows Cam begin to get down on one knee to propose to Jules during the commitment ceremony. “So, today is about giving you and us the moment that we missed coming into this experiment,” the retired cricketer said, referencing their fake wedding ceremony, which obviously didn’t have a proposal before it. Jules can then be heard gasping “Oh my God.”
The Experts Play Jess’ Deception To The Group
This is insane! The experts decide to play back some video of Jess coming onto groom Nic, which she told both new partner Dan and former co-star Cyrell that she didn’t do. The whole group watches on, and it’s so. damn. juicy.
Elizabeth Plots Her Revenge Against Sam
Ah, Elizabeth. Speaking to the camera in the trailer the outspoken bride can be heard saying, “He’s going to wish he was never born.” We’re here for the vengeance though.
One Couple Announces Their Split
After the vow renewals, it’s been rumoured that one “rock solid” couple surprise the group by announcing their split. A source told OK! magazine, “They had their ups and downs, but after the final commitment ceremony everyone assumed it would be smooth sailing.”
Two Grooms Get Into A Fist Fight
We’ve heard for weeks that there would be a “glassing incident” that occurred during the reunion, but another fight apparently happens between two MAFS grooms. “There’s a war of words that leaves two grooms needing to be physically separated by producers,” a source told OK!.
