There’s a huge Hayley-sized hole at Wednesday’s Married At First Sight dinner party that the producers desperately tried to fill by using new addition Lizzie and rarely-seen support characters, Josh and Cathy, as their pawns.

The trio looked as if they were being directly fed lines as they tried to stir some drama between Michael and Stacey after it was revealed that he kissed Hayley last week.
Lizzie started the producers’ dirty work by continuously asking for gossip about the others.
Rather than let sleeping dogs lie, Josh gave Michael a taste of his own medicine when he saddled up beside him and said: “Stacey, if I was you I wouldn’t be able to get that trust back.”
Michael explained he had changed his ways by not drinking alcohol and expressing his remorse, while Stacey said she was giving him another chance, but Josh wouldn’t let up, because if he did, the producers would have no subplot.
“What do you think I’ll do?” Michael asked him.
Josh replied: “I think you will do it again. A cheater doesn’t change his ways.”
Elsewhere, the main plot of Wednesday’s somewhat lackluster dinner party was a heartbroken Mishel fuming over her husband Steve’s revelation that he was not attracted to her after SIX WEEKS together.
The teacher honed in on the fact that the British barber had told “all of Australia” before telling her, which left her humiliated.
“You are a piece of sh*t,” she shouted at him. “Don’t come near me tonight, you will lose your other ball.” (Steve suffered from testicular cancer eight years ago.)
“He thinks he’s a top glass of Moët but really he’s warm p*ss in a plastic glass.”
Later, on the way to the dinner party, she added: “Have you ever heard of Charles Darwin, Steve? He did the theory of evolution. So, years ago, he had this theory of digging this big hole in the middle of Australia and putting all those dumb people in it. You’ll be one of the first in there, you know? For dumb people.”
Take a breath, girl.
Mishel started into Steve again at the dinner table, surrounded by their castmates, but by that stage he had had enough.
“He has a quick temper, he’s a ticking time bomb,” expert Mel Schilling said.
And it wasn’t long before Steve stormed out of the dinner party, ripping of his mic in the process.
“I’ve already started packing,” Mishel told the others.
