There’s no denying that Natasha Spencer and Mikey Pembroke’s MAFS’ marriage has been met with quite a few setbacks, mainly stemming from Tash’s uncertain feelings towards her TV husband.

According to New Idea, couple Tash and Mikey were sent packing two-thirds of the way into filming of the hit reality show, with the finance analyst since sitting her deteriorating mental health as the reason behind her shock exit.
“I have had a lot of things happen in my past, which were brought up on the show, which is the reason I left,” said Natasha, adding producers forced her into revealing details about her upbringing, despite the fact she said she wasn’t willing to do so.
“Things happened in my childhood, which I didn’t want brought up. I was just anxious. Childhood trauma is nothing we can control and it was wrong of them to bring it up.”

Reportedly, Natasha’s mental health was under such duress, she began suffering severe panic attacks. Her deteriorating health was the final indicator that it was time to pull the plug on her challenging marriage to Pembroke.
“I had a panic attack on there because I had a failing relationship and production was pushing me to tell [her husband Mikey’s] parents what a terrible partner he was. I lost it and started crying.”

After noticing Tash was struggling, MAFS showrunners suggested she should be hospitalised to ensure she got the help she needed.
“If that happened the show wouldn’t have been able to go to air so [the producers] cut their losses and took her off the show to save the show,” a contestant shared with New Idea, asking for their identity to remain a mystery.
Since the news broke of the couple’s departure, a video has surfaced of groom Mikey, who is frustrated about being “unfairly” booted off the show – blaming the experts for his failed pairing.
“I don’t know how I can be kicked off the show when I haven’t done anything wrong,” he said in the 12-second clip obtained by New Idea.
“I’ve given myself 100 per cent to the experiment… they think she’s not well. Well, it’s like they’ve f–king given me the wrong person. Such a stitch-up.”
