According to new reports Connie “hit it off” with the astrophysicist in Melbourne recently, per OK!.
The news comes after Connie stunned Jonethen by writing ‘stay’ on Wednesday night’s commitment ceremony. Meanwhile, Jonethen voted to leave for the third week in a row.
Connie later told NW on that she had been “forced the write stay” by producers even though it was clear the couple were “nothing more than friends”.
“At the end of the day, it’s a TV show and there are storylines. Producers like to do whatever they can to execute that storyline,” she told A.B and Ben on Hit105.5’s Coff’s Coast following the controversial comments. “No one held a gun to my head and I was the one who put that pen to the paper and wrote ‘stay’. “I take full ownership that I was the one who wrote it.”
Connie also suggested she’s still harbouring resentment towards her on-screen partner.
“Oh my god, I was so angry at him the other day and I still am a little bit,” she said. “But with the show and everything like that, I don’t know how last night’s episode went down but when we were living it, he was absolutely incredible with the way he supported me. He was by my side with my decision all the way until the very end.”
Adding fuel to the fire, Cnnie also revealed Jonethen and his male co-stars intentionally ditched her to score a paid club promotion instead.
“He was with Mikey, Ivan, Steve and Dave… I get it, these guys are celebrities, they’re D grade celebrities,” she said. “They had this very important event to go through and they said after it was done they’d come and meet me for a drink. I thought, awesome, that’d mean the world to me. But after saying they’d come, they didn’t even bother.”
“They were too busy with their meet and greets and thinking they’re really relevant and important.”
As of now, Connie and Jon are still on the series together.
