The pair didn’t last long, and what remains of their relationship is nothing more than a few extremely derogatory (but fairly warranted) comments and the removal of an eyebrow piercing.
Now, Norrish is returning to our screens in a completely different way – through the eyes of his ex-girlfriend, Vanessa Romito, who he supposedly broke up with to enter the show last year.
The ex-reality TV star was understandably shocked last September when he discovered that Romito had been picked as a contestant in the 2020 season. But now, after having a few months to contemplate the repercussions of his previous partner being thrust into the spotlight, the MAFS alum has finally broken his silence.
Despite their deeply bitter split, Norrish revealed in a recent interview that he’s happy for Romito, and hopes she has a better experience than he did.
“Best of luck to her. I hope she has more luck on the show than I did,” said Norrish.
If you’re a true diehard MAFS fan, you might recall Romito’s infamous 45-minute video that she uploaded to YouTube last year, in hope of destroying the strippers “nice guy” reputation.
In the now-deleted video, Romito discussed her deeply flawed relationship with Norrish, revealing he had a wandering eye and a ‘player’ attitude.
“We go to dinner and we’re at the table and he points to a group of blonde women and says, ‘you see that table over there?’… I’d f*** every single one them,” an angry Vanessa recalled in September.
“He went on to speak quite disgustingly about these women, and then he went on to tell me that he was seeing six women while he was getting to know me… he said ‘that’s what I usually do when I’m single – start dating six girls and the last one standing is who I date.'”
“He said ‘congratulations Ness, you’re the last one standing'”
Will Romito make Norrish the topic of discussion on this year’s season? We’ll have to wait and see.
