Everyone’s favourite MAFS golden couple, Aleks Markovic and Ivan Sarakula, came crumbling down last week during a drama-filled dinner party – after Aleks was accused by her co-stars of seeing someone outside of the experiment.

When the pair chose to leave the show pre-commitment ceremony last night, we were certain all hope was lost for the two real estate agents. However, in an announcement we never saw coming, Aleks has pleaded with her social media followers to “spread love, not hate” as she announced that she was still together with TV-husband Ivan.
“The pressures and expectations of the experiment got the better of us,” Aleks explained, minutes after the couple were shown to have boycotted Sunday’s commitment ceremony.
“Ivan and I stayed together the evening of our exit and he even saw me off at the airport to be with my family. It was an emotional moment for the both of us. Let’s see if being outside does our relationship any more justice without the pressure and judgements of our peers. That being said, regardless of what pans out over the next few days and weeks, we are forever grateful for all of the wonderful people we have met along the way. We are all just humans on our own journey. Spread love, not hate and judgement.”
The 26-year-old from Perth continued, urging her fans to “#stopbullying” – a reference potentially, to her MAFS co-stars after they were accused of bullying her over the status of her relationship with Ivan and an alleged affair, which she denied.
