If you don’t happen to follow any of the Kardashian fam on Instagram, you may have missed that True Thompson – the daughter of Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson – was treated to a lavish party in honour of first birthday.
Khloé threw an uncharacteristically over-the-top celebration for her 1-year-old daughter fit with a giant floral arrangement that read ‘True’, enormous pastel coloured balloons, ponies and all the extravagant fittings we’ve come to associate with Kardashian children’s birthday bashes.
But, looking through various Instagram stories from the April 14 event saw fans live through the awkward reunion between Thompson and Kardashian (in real time). The former couple has not been spotted together since news broke that Thompson cheated with Kylie Jenner’s former BFF Jordyn Woods.

In this clip from Kardashian’s Instagram story, Thompson seems to reach for True and try to hold her. Kardashian gently ices him out, holding onto the baby and posing for the camera. While another video sees Thompson hold True while guests sing Happy Birthday, and Khloé keeps her distance.
It’s pretty impressive the pair were able to put their differences aside to help True celebrate her birthday.
