The singer shared two black and white photos of Tommy, writing, “Devastated. Please hold your loved ones tight. Tell them they are special and that you love them. Make sure they know it. RIP to my boo @sirtruss 🖤🖤🖤.”

Demi, who has battled addiction and suffered a near-fatal overdose in July 2018, shared a second post urging her followers to help anyone around them who may be suffering from the disease. “Addiction is NO joke,” she wrote. “Heaven gained this beautiful angel last night because of that terrible disease. I’m crushed and will always miss you @sirtruss. If you or someone you know is struggling please know it’s okay to ask for help.”

Hailey Baldwin’s friend and stylist, Maeve Reilly, also took to Instagram to share a heartfelt tribute, writing that Tommy was her “best friend and little brother” and that he had tried to get sober countless times.

Hailey commented, “love you M❤️” on the post, while Demi Lovato wrote, “Fuck… those videos… 💔💔💔 I love you maeve. RIP Tommy” and Demi Moore simple commented with a broken love heart.

“My best friend and little brother overdosed and died yesterday. It’s taken me a day to write anything down. I loved you so much Tommy. You lit up every room. You loved hard. You showed up for your friends. You wanted to be sober so bad. You really tried,” Maeve wrote. “I watched you. Countless relapses but you always came back. We laughed and cried. You baby sat me through my breakup 6 months ago. You didn’t leave my side. You showed up for me everyday. We saw or spoke to each other everyday. We had the most random fun. It looked like I was taking care of You. But you were taking care of me. I have watched people die of the disease of addiction before but never someone this close to me. I will cherish you in my heart forever Tommy. You are gone too fucking soon.”
