Well, there you have it, ladies and gentlemen, everyoneโs favourite dating show is officially over for another year with Matt Agnew picking 28-year-old chemical engineer Chelsie McLeod for his final rose. Of course, in the world of The Bachelor, a filmed declaration of love doesnโt always mean the couple is still together when the show airs months later, but in this case, it appears they are.
Taking to Instagram a few hours after the finale, Chelsie posted the first non-Bachelor photo of the two: a selfie taken presumably that night. She captioned it simply, โI love you.โ
Matt went the traditional route and posted a photo from the finale night, writing, โThis has been an absolutely incredible experience but I found exactly what I was looking for. I love you @chelsiemcleod.โ He then posted on Instagram stories showing that heโd followed Chelsie on the app, writing, โFinally.โ
Unlike previous Bachelors, Richie and He Who Shall Not Be Named (Okay, Nick Cummins), fans were quick to comment that Matt had picked the right woman. โYay well done Matt so happy u found and picked the right one,โ one person wrote. โYassss โค๏ธ so worried you were about to pick the wrong girl so glad Chels was the one ๐๐๐น,โ said another, while one joked about the coupleโs jobs, writing, โCongratulations Matt! Best wishes with you and Chelsie for a life filled with nerdy happiness!โ
Congrats to the nerdy, happy couple. Now, is it Bachelorette time yet?
