Be still our beating hearts, ’90s It-couple Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt have appeared on-screen together for the first time in 19 years.
Pitt joined Aniston in a live table read for the classic film Fast Times At Ridgemont High. The star-studded virtual table reading of the 1982 film was announced on August 14 and not only starred Aniston, but also Julia Roberts, Matthew McConaughey, Henry Golding, Shia LaBeouf, and Morgan Freeman—and of course, Brad Pitt.
Taking place on Facebook Live and TikTok, the ‘Feelin’ A-Live’ fundraiser will benefit the emergency relief nonprofit CORE, which was co-founded by Sean Penn, as well as the criminal justice reform organisation REFORM Alliance.

Ahead of the performance, CORE released a behind-the-scenes photo of the cast. The post also gave the first glimpse of former spouses Pitt and Aniston “on-screen” together for the table read.
The pair were last seen together at the 2020 SAG Awards, after Aniston won Best Female Actor in a Drama Series for The Morning Show. Running into each other backstage, they shared a warm embrace and seemed genuinely happy to see each other and congratulate one another on their awards, since Pitt had also won Best Male Actor in a Supporting Role for Once Up a Time… in Hollywood.
Pitt and Aniston met back in 1998 and tied the knot in 2000. The only time that the pair have ever acted alongside each other was when Pitt guest-starred on an episode of Friends, which aired in November 2001. However, the couple later split in January 2005 and finalised their divorce in October of the same year.
But before we get ahead of ourselves, dreaming of a romantic reconciliation, a source told ET that they’re just good friends. “Brad and Jen are very good friends. Neither of them are seeing anyone else seriously but as of right now they’re just friends,” the source adds. “Brad has grown so much in his life since he and Jen broke up.”
