In an excerpt for her upcoming memoir, Demi Moore has revealed details about her marriage to Ashton Kutcher, saying that during their eight-year relationship, from 2003 to 2011, she suffered a miscarriage and that Kutcher cheated on her.
In an interview ahead of the release of Inside Out for the New York Times, Moore writes that the pair’s 15-year age difference made her feel like she was time travelling, saying their relationship was “a do-over, like I could just go back in time and experience what it was like to be young, with him—much more so than I’d ever been able to experience it when I was actually in my twenties.”
Moore reveals that soon after starting to date Kutcher, she became pregnant with a girl, who she planned to name Chaplin Ray, however, six months into the pregnancy, she lost the child – something she blames of her drinking. Moore says her drinking worsened in the years following her wedding to Kutcher in 2005 and that she started abusing Vicodin, before finding out that Kutcher had cheated on her.
In the preview, Moore doesn’t go into much detail about the cheating, however, Kutcher reportedly isn’t mad that she wrote about it.
A source tells Us Weekly, “Ashton knew what was coming. He had a heads up on what is in the book. He’s not mad or disappointed. This is Demi’s truth, and he always felt sympathetic toward her.”
