Amber Heard has confirmed she is pregnant with her second child.
The 38-year-old is expecting her second baby, following the birth of her daughter Oonagh Paige over three years ago.
A spokesperson for the Aquaman actress told People, “It is still quite early in the pregnancy, so you will appreciate that we do not want to go into much detail at this stage. Suffice to say that Amber is delighted both for herself and Oonagh Paige.”
Heard welcomed her first child, Oonagh Paige, in April of 2021, revealing the news three months after her birth via Instagram. The actress also revealed that having a child was a decision she’d made “on my own terms”.
“Four years ago, I decided I wanted to have a child. I wanted to do it on my own terms. I now appreciate how radical it is for us as women to think about one of the most fundamental parts of our destinies in this way,” she wrote.
The post continued, “I hope we arrive at a point in which it’s normalized to not want a ring in order to have a crib. A part of me wants to uphold that my private life is none of anyone’s business. I also get that the nature of my job compels me to take control of this.”
Does Amber Heard Have A Partner?
In the three and a half years following Oonagh’s arrival, Heard has touched on life as a single parent briefly, referring to herself as “just the mom and the dad” and a “multitasking mama”.
As she embarks on her second pregnancy, Heard isn’t publicly dating anyone and is believed to be single.
The star will likely raise her two children in Madrid, Spain where she currently lives. Heard made the move overseas following her highly publicised trial with ex Johnny Depp.
The 2022 trial saw Depp try to prove that Amber Heard had defamed him over a 2018 op-ed in the Washington Post, where she didn’t name him, but claimed to be a victim of domestic abuse. Heard countersued Depp for defamation.
