During her almost three years at Bumble, Battersby has launched Bumble Date, BFF and Bizz here, and been a driving force behind the brand’s partnerships with Falls Festival, Splendour in the Grass, the Melbourne Cup and marie claire’s own Glass Ceiling Awards.

After hitting three million registered Australian users last month, Battersby is certainly going out on a high.

“My time at Bumble has been a dream, and I am so thankful for all of the support and opportunities given to me by Whitney and the team. I have reached many personal and professional milestones in my time here and Bumble will always stay so close to my heart,” says Battersby, who also launched Bumble in New Zealand and the Philippines, and has led activations in Hong Kong, Bali and Singapore.

Bumble founder and CEO Whitney Wolfe Herd says she will be deeply missed: “Michelle has been an invaluable leader in establishing Bumble’s brand and mission in Australia and throughout APAC over past few years. While she will be deeply missed, Michelle has helped us to build an exceptional team in Australia that will continue to drive Bumble’s momentum.”

Battersby’s last day at Bumble is November 15 and we wish her all the very best with her next chapter. Get it, girl.
