When it comes to her dark brown tresses Meghan Markle rarely strays from her favourite hairstyles. If the pregnant royal isn’t wearing her hair down around her shoulders she is rocking her rule-breaking messy bun. Even wearing the modern upstyle for her wedding day to Prince Harry.
Following close observation of the Duchess of Sussex of late we can’t help but notice that she’s debuted a series of brand new hairstyles.
The pregnant royal made a surprise appearance at the Fashion Awards 2018 in London, wearing a brand-new sleek style. Her chestnut brown tresses we swept into a low-bun which perfectly accentuated the asymmetric neckline of her Claire Wright Keller for Givenchy dress.
We know Meghan has naturally curly tresses from her adorable childhood snaps, so there’s a good chance she’s been chemically straightening her hair all these years. Since pregnant women can’t undergo the in-salon hair treatment due to the harsh chemicals which means Markle might be choosing a series of sleek styles to keep her wayward curls in place.
When it comes to up-do, Meghan has been wearing a Kate Middleton-inspired half-up, half-down look and fuss-free undone ponytail.
Meghan’s low ponytail made its debut on Tuesday morning in Dubbo and was seen again today at Bondi beach. The 37-year-old is joined by celebrity hairdresser George Northwood while down under, the famed stylist also counts Alexa Chung and Alicia Vikander as his clients.
Later, the Duchess and Prince Harry visited McKather Girls High School where she wore her second new hairstyle: the half-up ‘do.
