PSA: A Mean Girls-themed high tea is officially coming to Australia in November, and we are here for it and all its 2000s glory.
Hosted by The Brunch Club, who brought us a delightful Mamma Mia!-themed brunch earlier this month (which is now headed to Brisbane), fans of Tina Fey’s iconic film are in for an immersive, cocktail-and-carb infused treat of a day.
Catering to anyone who has been personally victimised by Regina George, ‘The Most Fetch High Tea Ever’ will kick off its tour at a secret pop-up location on November 7th and 8th in Sydney.
All of the dishes, drinks and décor are set to take their cue from the movie: just think ‘You Go Glen CoCo’ cocktails, Kälteen bars and, of course, The Burn Book.
And while it’s going to be quite a pink-hued situation, with the dress code suggesting you grab your ‘best pink outfit’, there’s a strict (read: not-so-strict), ‘No sweat pants’ stipulation (but they didn’t say anything about loungewear or nap dresses…).
The event, which will start in Sydney on the second weekend of November, is set to go around to multiple states, except for Victoria (you can’t sit with us).
The details are as below:
- Sydney – November 7 and 8
- Canberra – November 14 at 15
- Brisbane – November 14 and 15
- Perth – November 21 and 22
- Adelaide – November 21 and 22
Tickets cost $60 per person and include a pink high tea and 1x themed cocktail. There will also be a cash bar available on the day.
