Married At First Sight’s most controversial couple, Bryce and Melissa, have revealed they’re still going strong following the finale of Channel Nine’s social experiment, and it seems things are going so well in fact, the pair has teased an “exciting announcement.”
The couple took to their Instagram Stories on April 27 to tease the news, sharing a photo alongside the caption: “Exciting Announcement coming 6 pm AEST TONIGHT!”
Ahead of the pair’s big reveal, Radio Today revealed Bryce and Melissa had landed their very own podcast deal with Jay Walkerden’s Podshape.
According to the outlet, the podcast will be titled What Happens After and is offering up a “warts and all look at the development of a relationship”, but considering how volatile it was to watch play out on screen, we have just a few concerns about tuning in.
It’s perhaps not that surprising of a move, considering Bryce was previously a radio announcer at Southern Cross Austereo’s Hit 104.7 in Canberra, departing to appear on MAFS.
“The bad things have definitely been the trolls and the lack of understanding around our relationship,” Melissa says in the trailer for the upcoming podcast series.
Bryce and Melissa will be discussing topics together that include everything from whether they’ll get married for real, how they plan to raise children, and if what their families think of their life together.
“I’m looking forward to showing our relationship for what it actually is and giving insight into Bryce and myself,” Melissa added via a statement, while Bryce told the outlet: “We met in usual circumstances but we’re just like any normal couple, I’m excited to let people inside how lives and our relationship.”
What Happens After launches on May 4, 2021, and will run for 10 episodes, and you can listen to the sneak peek here.
